Ashton Kutcher wanted to take a trip to space and he had the money to do it. He spent $200,000 for a spot on the Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo. However, he didn't even end up going. 

Kutcher later confessed, "When I got married and had kids, my wife encouraged that it was not a smart family decision to be heading into space when we have young children".
